Social Dining Group To find out more about this Group, Email What we do: The Dining Group provides opportunities for its members to enjoy good food and to get to know other U3A members. The group arranges dinners at different restaurants across Swansea on an occasional rather than a regular basis, but members are normally sent details at least a month in advance, with an opportunity to book a place. As a guide, events may be at around six-week intervals, and on different days of the week, both to fit in with restaurant availability and to avoid excluding members with other commitments on particular weekdays. We are always open to new members and half the attendees at our dinners come as singles. Meeting Area: Various Locations Meeting Day: Varying evenings, Mondays to Thursdays. |

What we do:
The Swansea U3A area is very large and not everyone has access to a car or good public transport. This is a group for people wanting lifts and for those who can offer lifts to not only Swansea and Ystradgynlais U3A meetings and events, but also to non U3A social occasions as well, like concerts and other local events.
Lift sharing makes social, environmental and economic sense and new friendships and social contacts can result. Hopefully, if there is sufficient interest, a short weekly or fortnightly bulletin will be sent by email to group members with details of requests and offers of lifts and , if possible, you will be put in touch with another U3A member that matches.
We will only share your name, the area where you live, postcode, and your name with anyone you are paired with. It will then be up to you to share your address.
